At Key Dental Group, we are proud to have Dr. Jason Ross on our dental team. Dr. Ross brings a unique mix of experience, skill, and care to every patient he treats. His goal is simple: to help every patient maintain a healthy, confident smile.
Dr. Ross grew up moving around the country as the son of a career naval officer before settling in Collierville, Tennessee. He first studied Electrical Engineering at the University of Tennessee, earning his degree in 2010 and being honored by the Phi Sigma Theta National Honor Society.
After college, Dr. Ross served in the U.S. Navy and then worked as an engineer and manager in Memphis for five years. While he enjoyed his work, he realized he wanted to make a difference in people’s lives through healthcare. This led him to return to school and pursue dentistry.
He graduated from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Dentistry, where he received awards for his research and dedication to advancing dental care. Dr. Ross’s research paper, “Fast Curing with High-Power Curing Lights Affects Depth of Cure, Post-Gel Shrinkage, and Temperature in Bulk-Fill Composites,” earned him acceptance into both the International Association for Dental Research and the American Association for Dental Research.
After graduating, Dr. Ross was honored with the American Academy of Oral Medicine Award, receiving a certificate of merit for his excellence in oral medicine. He remains active in the dental community as a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the Special Care Dentistry Association, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Ross and his wife, Megan, have three children: Sam, Susannah, and Maisie. The family is active in Northside Baptist Church in Clinton. Dr. Ross believes in treating each patient like a family. He takes time to listen, answer questions, and explain dental care in an easy-to-understand way. His patients appreciate his calm, professional, and caring approach.
