Dr. Joseph Collins III is a caring dentist who helps patients maintain healthy teeth and gums. He was born in Birmingham, Alabama, while his father, Dr. Joe Collins II, was studying dentistry at UAB. From a young age, Joseph grew up surrounded by the world of dentistry, which inspired his passion for helping people smile with confidence.
Dr. Collins graduated from Madison Central High School in 2008. He then attended Copiah Lincoln Community College, where he excelled academically and was inducted into the Co-Lin CC Hall of Fame. Afterward, he went to Samford University, played on the varsity football team, and earned the title of Academic All-American. His journey in dental education continued at the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) School of Dentistry.
While at UMMC, Dr. Collins earned several prestigious awards. These include the American College of Dentists Outstanding Student Leader Award, membership in the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society, the American Association of Endodontists Student Achievement Award, and the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry Restorative Dentistry Award. These achievements reflect his dedication to both his patients and the dental profession.
Dr. Collins values family, faith, and a healthy lifestyle. He is married to Morgan Collins, and they have two daughters, Cooper Grace and Caroline Denley. The family attends Broadmoor Baptist Church in Madison. Outside the office, Dr. Collins enjoys family vacations, staying active through daily exercise, and even completing two “Tough Mudder” obstacle races! His active lifestyle brings energy and positivity to his dental practice.
