My name is Dr. Brian Pinelo Sanpedro and I am originally from Staatsburg, New York, a small town located about two hours north of New York City. Growing up on an apple orchard, I grew incredibly fond of the outdoors, fishing, and hiking, as well as developing an appreciation and respect for hard work, farming, and manual labor. As a child, I vividly recall my immigrant family frequently complaining of various aches, sores, and pains, more often than not related to work. I have always been a hands-on individual and would jokingly massage various family members. However, they would emphasize how much even a tiny massage helped relieve their pain. From a young age, I realized the tremendous improvements we can make to the human body through conservative methods before resorting to more serious and invasive treatments, which are reserved for when everything else has been exhausted.
Chiropractic care first drew my attention as a child when I observed my dad going in for weekly treatments for his lower back pain. Later, I experienced my own injury, which was treated after a single visit. Numerous musculoskeletal issues that the vast majority of people experience every day can be reduced and alleviated through chiropractic care, especially when incorporating various treatments and therapies such as shockwave therapy, PEMF magnet therapy, and spinal decompression. These are just a few of the state-of-the-art therapies available at Walter Mendoza Chiropractic. I am incredibly eager to expand my knowledge, expertise, and techniques to better serve my community and help my patients on their journey to recovery, healing, and optimizing their health.
